Bill Flanigan has been an entrepreneur and leader in the City of San Diego’s insurance and financial services industry since the1980’s. Through his leadership, his company provides services to over 1200 families and businesses locally and across the state, while also volunteering his time in service to the LGBTQ+ community, involved in many projects for the Greater San Diego Business Association, the San Diego Gay Softball League and The San Diego LGBT Community Center.

His experience as a singer dates back to 2010, when he first experienced the SDGMC as an audience member and immediately auditioned for a place in the Baritones section of the chorus. Through roles as soloist, dancer and character actor, he has brought a unique point of view to his service to and leadership of the chorus in his roles as a member of the SDGMC Board of Directors and Director of Membership. During his time with the chorus he has seen the chorus transition to a professional arts organization worthy of the local and national recognition it has achieved. The rewards he takes and shares with his fellow singers and volunteers is his inspiration for his continued service to the chorus.
