Alyssa Davis comes to the Board of Directors with over 8 years of financial accounting experience, including four years in public accounting where she performed audit engagements for both public and private companies. Alyssa currently works as a forensic accountant with Addleman & Associates. She is a graduate of the University of San Diego, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of California, and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Originally from the East Coast, Alyssa has called San Diego home since 2011 and is a passionate member of the local LGBTQ+ community. Although she does not consider singing one of her talents, Alyssa is a lover of music in all forms and can play the saxophone. Alyssa enjoys live music (especially attending Chorus shows) as well as reading, writing, and traveling with her partner. In addition to her continued involvement with the SDMGC Finance Committee, Alyssa is an active volunteer with CANTER California, a 501(c)(3) non-profit providing retiring thoroughbred racehorses with new career opportunities. Alyssa looks forward to bringing her unique combination of accounting expertise, problem-solving skills, and free spiritedness to the Board to give back to the community and help SDMGC fulfill its mission.
